UJK track holding clips are supplied in pairs, made from high-strength material, designed to securely fasten a Festool or Makita guide rail to the 20mm bench dogs of a multifunction table. The clip body fits into the guide rail's T-slot; the arc spring hooks around the 20mm dog, keeping the rail in constant contact with the dogs during cutting, eliminating the risk of lateral slippage even in the presence of wood dust. Manufactured in Great Britain. Distributed in Italy by Krollit, official UJK distributor since 2007.

Who are UJK track holding clips for?
| Profile |
Compatibility |
Reason |
| Woodworker using a Festool or Makita track saw on a multifunction table |
Suitable |
The clip keeps the rail in constant contact with the 20mm dogs, eliminating the risk of lateral slippage during cutting, even with wood dust on the rail's anti-slip strips |
| Anyone performing repeated cuts on the same line and needing quick rail repositioning |
Suitable |
The clip is inserted and removed without tools; the rail is placed on the dogs, the clips are attached with a simple lateral movement, and the rail is immediately locked in place |
| Anyone owning Bosch, Mafell, or DeWalt guide rails |
Not recommended |
The clips are compatible with the T-slot of Festool and Makita rails; for Bosch, Mafell, and DeWalt rails, dedicated UJK track holding dogs with T-bolt are available |
Not recommended for: Bosch, Mafell, and DeWalt guide rails, for which UJK track holding dogs with compatible T-bolt are available; and for dogs with a diameter other than 20mm.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do UJK track holding clips work?
The clip body slides into the upper T-slot of the Festool or Makita guide rail. The arc spring of the clip then hooks around the 20mm dog already inserted into the table, keeping the side of the rail in constant contact with the dog during cutting.
The arched profile of the clip ensures a uniform fit around the dog, distributing the clamping force over the entire contact surface. The clip is inserted and removed without tools with a simple lateral movement, allowing quick repositioning of the rail between cuts.
Why are clips necessary even if the rail already has anti-slip strips?
The anti-slip strips on the underside of the rail lose effectiveness in the presence of wood dust, which acts as a lubricant, reducing friction. In these conditions, the rail can shift laterally by a few tenths of a millimeter during cutting, introducing a measurable error in the finished piece.
The clips eliminate this risk by mechanically locking the rail to the dogs; the locking does not depend on friction and is not affected by wood dust. For those performing precision cuts on a multifunction table, the clips are a necessary accessory to fully utilize the precision of the Parf MkII system.
Are the clips compatible with UJK 50mm reference dogs and expandable dogs?
Yes. The clips are compatible with all UJK 20mm dogs, including 50mm reference dogs, expandable dogs of any height, and self-locking clamping dogs. They are also compatible with 20mm dogs from other manufacturers.
The clips work best with dogs that have sufficient protrusion above the rail (at least 5–10 mm) to allow the spring to hook on. For very thick materials where the dog protrudes little above the rail, holding dogs with a T-bolt offer a more secure fastening.
How many clips are needed to secure a guide rail?
The package includes 2 clips, which is the minimum configuration to secure a rail with 2 dogs. For a standard 1,080 mm or 1,400 mm rail on an MFT/3 table with 2 reference dogs, 2 clips are sufficient to ensure stable fastening during cutting.
For longer rails or for operations with high vibrations such as routing, it is advisable to use a second pair of clips by adding a third intermediate fastening point.
What is the difference between UJK clips and T-bolt track holding dogs?
Clips attach to the side of the rail and are visible during operation; T-bolt holding dogs are inserted under the rail into the T-slot, remaining completely hidden. Clips are more economical and quicker to install; T-bolt dogs offer superior stability for routing and repeated cuts at the same thickness thanks to the integrated scale.
