Who uses the CF 410 F – 2600 and for what
The Bernardo CF 410 F – 2600 is a combined machine with an integrated fixed sliding table – the long table allows precise squaring of panels and strips up to 2,600 mm. With a width of 410 mm, it covers the professional mid-to-high range of solid wood processing: surface planing and thicknessing, 90° and 45° sawing, squaring with the carriage. The motor with dual power class S1/S6 (2.2/3.0 kW) ensures continuity even on hard woods. With a fixed sliding table for squaring panels up to 2,600 mm. In Krollit customers' workshops, it is used by carpenters, window manufacturers, and wood craftsmen who are looking for a versatile machine in a confined space.

| Profile |
Compatibility |
Reason |
| Passionate hobbyist |
Not suitable |
Requires 400V three-phase. For hobby use, consider single-phase models. |
| Carpentry / wood artisan |
Ideal |
410 mm planer + thicknesser + saw in a single machine: the solution for those with limited space who want to cover the main solid wood processes. |
| Intense industrial production |
Not suitable |
For high-volume wood production, separate dedicated machines (standalone planer + standalone saw) are preferred for faster cycles and independent maintenance. |
Not suitable for: pieces over 410 mm wide (planer) or beyond the saw table; intensive industrial production; woods beyond the 5 mm cutting depth capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a surface planer and a thickness planer in a combined machine?
The surface planer (jointer) straightens the surface of the workpiece – you pass the wood over the table and get a flat reference face. The thickness planer brings the workpiece to the desired height uniformly – you set the thickness and the wood is automatically fed through the machine. In a combined machine, both functions use the same shaft with knives: you change the function by moving the workpiece to the correct table.
When should HSS knives be replaced or sharpened?
In professional use (4–6 hours/day) on medium woods, HSS knives require sharpening every 2–4 weeks. On hard woods, every 1–2 weeks. Sets of original Bernardo replacement knives are available with shipping in 3–5 working days. Alternatively, consider switching to a shaft with TCT inserts (almost no maintenance by rotating the insert).
How much space is needed in the workshop for the CF 410 F – 2600?
In addition to the physical footprint of the machine, consider the space for handling pieces: at least the maximum length of the piece in front of and behind the planer, and the same distance on the sides of the saw. In practice, for a combined machine with a 1600 mm table, at least 3–4 m of clear space on each side is needed.
Is a dedicated dust extractor needed?
Yes. Combined machines produce a significant amount of chips and sawdust. A dust extractor with a minimum flow rate of 600–800 m³/h and a Ø 100 mm connection is essential to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Bernardo offers compatible DC and FP dust extractors – contact Krollit for the correct configuration.
Can I switch to TCT knives on the existing shaft?
It depends on the model of the shaft installed. On some Bernardo combined machines, it is possible to replace the shaft with HSS knives with a TCT spiral shaft (reversible inserts) which eliminates sharpening. Contact Krollit to check compatibility with your specific CF 410 F – 2600.
