Description
IGM i2R A24 CNC Router Combo + Original Stand + Laptop Stand – Complete Professional CNC System
The combo brings together three complementary components for a complete professional CNC system ready to use, without the need for separate investments.
IGM i2R A24 is a compact 3-axis CNC router with 0.05 mm precision, ideal for wood, aluminium, plastics and brass. Working area: 610 × 1,220 × 150 mm, suitable for 2D/3D machining of furniture components, inlays, sculptures, prototypes and engravings. The 2,200 W liquid-cooled spindle operates from 0–24,000 rpm. 16 mm ball screws combined with linear guides provide precise travel, minimal backlash and reduced vibration. Magnetic sensors on each axis and a Z-axis touch sensor enable automatic calibration via the HOME function. The 40 mm aluminium worktable with integrated MDF panels and T-slots allows secure clamping of workpieces and accessories. UCCNC software with included licence provides an intuitive Windows interface, real-time 3D preview and PC control.
IGM Original Stand is a high-quality steel base equipped with mobile castors for moving the machine around the workshop and adjustable feet for precise levelling and stable positioning. It is designed to support the approximately 150 kg router together with tools and workpieces. Predrilled mounting points allow the addition of an IGM tool cabinet or laptop stand. The robust structure supports long machining cycles without unwanted movement.
IGM Laptop Stand is a steel computer mounting bracket designed to attach directly to the original IGM stand using the predrilled mounting points. It positions the laptop ergonomically so the operator can monitor UCCNC at a comfortable viewing height.
Together: precision CNC router + stable mobile stand + ergonomic computer control = complete professional CNC workstation ready for operation. Result: precise wood and aluminium components, continuous machining cycles and real-time visual control.

Frequently asked questions
1. Is the 610 × 1,220 mm working area sufficient for standard furniture components?
Yes. The 610 × 1,220 mm area covers most common woodworking components such as cabinet doors, frames, drawer panels and decorative parts. Components longer than 1,220 mm may require machining in two separate setups. The 150 mm Z travel provides useful clearance for reliefs, inlays and 3D work.
2. Does the 2,200 W liquid-cooled spindle really make a difference compared with air-cooled spindles?
Liquid cooling helps maintain stable spindle temperatures during long machining cycles and can reduce thermal variation. It is especially useful when operating for extended periods at high spindle speeds.
3. Is 0.05 mm precision realistic?
The combination of ball screws, linear guides and axis sensors is designed to provide repeatable positioning. Actual accuracy depends on setup, calibration, tooling, material and machining conditions.
4. Is UCCNC easy to use without CNC experience?
UCCNC provides a graphical interface for loading G-code, homing the machine, viewing the toolpath and starting the machining cycle. Basic operation is relatively accessible, although CNC machining still requires familiarity with tooling, feeds, speeds and workholding.
5. Is the wheeled base stable during high-speed routing?
Yes. The adjustable feet are used to level and stabilise the stand once the machine is positioned, so the castors are not relied upon for stability during machining.
6. What maintenance does the machine and stand require?
Regular maintenance includes cleaning dust, lubricating the ball screws and linear motion components according to the manufacturer’s instructions, checking the cooling system and inspecting the stand, castors and mounting hardware.
