It depends on the model: HM 25 has a 180° swivel head, HM 25 TOP has a tiltable head ±22.5° right/left.
The swivel head allows working on large pieces such as doors and frames from the back. The tiltable head allows angled mortises for mitered assemblies.

HM 12, HM 25, and HM 30 models are equipped with a 0.75 kW single-phase 230 V motor. See "Voltage" in the technical table.
The single-phase power supply makes these mortising machines usable even in workshops without a three-phase line. However, the machine still requires dedicated differential protection.
