Z58 HM blade for steel — why do different materials require different teeth?
Z58 for steel: fewer teeth with a larger pitch allow for efficient chip evacuation during cutting — too many teeth simultaneously engaged cause overheating and rapid wear. Z80 for aluminum would have chips trapped between the teeth, causing aluminum to "weld" to the inserts.
How to safely use this blade on a circular saw?
For steel cutting: always use cutting fluid (cutting oil or emulsion); max peripheral speed 80 m/s; do not force the feed — let the blade cut at its own pace. Use eye protection (chip projection). Always secure the workpiece — never hold it by hand while cutting.
