The PEB 300 portable edge bander is a practical and versatile solution for professional edge banding of wood panels and derivatives. The adjustable guide system allows you to work with different edge thicknesses and heights, ensuring precision on both straight surfaces and shaped elements. The two rubberized handles and the height-adjustable guide plate ensure stable and comfortable use even during prolonged work. The glue is applied directly to the edge material, eliminating the need for pre-glued edges and improving operational convenience. It is suitable for processing ABS, PVC, melamine, and veneer, both in mobile and stationary modes, offering reliability and ease of use in carpentry.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between DR, EBM, and PEB in the Bernardo edge bander range?
DR 500 / DR 500 S: stationary fixed edge banders with automatic motorized feed — for series production with consistent quality over long runs. EBM 50 E / EBM 60 Profi: mobile edge banders with adjustable electric feed, more versatile for workshops with varied production. PEB 300 / PEB 500 V: portable manual or variable feed (V) edge banders — the most economical, suitable for low-volume artisan production.
What type of glue does it use and how long does it take to heat up?
All Bernardo edge banders use EVA hot-melt granular glue melted in the heated tank. Heating time is typically 4–8 minutes. Keep the glue at the correct temperature for the type of edge: standard PVC 140–160°C, ABS 160–180°C, thick edges 180–200°C. Replacement EVA granular glue is available from Krollit.
What edge thicknesses are compatible?
PEB edge banders work with edges from 0.3 to 3.0 mm. DR and EBM edge banders typically accept edges from 0.4 mm up to 3.0 mm, with feed speed adaptable to the thickness. For edges over 3 mm or solid wood edges, different specialized equipment is needed.
How do you clean the glue tank?
While the glue is still hot (never cold): empty the tank with a suitable scraper, then wipe off residues with absorbent paper while the tank is still hot. Do not use water. If the glue has hardened cold, restart the machine until the glue softens and proceed with cleaning while the machine is hot.
