Who uses the PTS 650 E and for what

The Bernardo PTS 650 E is the motorized version of the manual PTS 650 S: same dimensions, same format (650 mm × 1.25 mm), but with motorized cutting blade actuation instead of manual lever operation. The 0.75 kW motor eliminates the physical fatigue of continuous production cutting, ensuring constant cutting force with each stroke regardless of the operator. Compared to the large MTE/MTR shears, it is compact (930 mm) and low-power: the choice for workshops that produce medium volumes on thin sheet metal and want to switch from manual to motorized without investing in large-format machines.

What is the difference between PTS 650 E (motorized) and PTS 650 S (manual)?

The PTS 650 E has motorized blade actuation (0.75 kW, three-phase 400V); the PTS 650 S is manual with a lever. Same dimensions, same cutting format, same backgauge. The E version eliminates the fatigue of continuous production cutting and ensures constant force with each stroke. The cost of the E is higher; it requires three-phase 400V.

Is the backgauge included as standard?
