The Quick Change Tool Post (QCTP) replaces the standard lathe tool post. It allows you to mount and dismount each tool in 5–10 seconds instead of the 2–3 minutes required with the traditional screw-type tool post — maintaining the cutting edge height repeatable to 0.01 mm without having to re-zero each time. In production with frequent tool changes, it reduces downtime by 60–80%.
Is size 3 compatible with my Bernardo lathe?
Size 3 corresponds to the standard attachment series for lathes with center heights 125–160 mm — compatible with Profi 650 G, Profi 700, Standard 150/165. Check the center height of your lathe and the size of your current tool post before purchasing. Customer support in Italian available.
