Description
The Vario TBM 380 - 16 V bench drill is a machine powered at 230 V, with a drilling capacity in steel of up to 20 mm and MT 2 Morse taper spindle mount. Speed is infinitely variable over two ranges, 190 to 730 and 720 to 2,700 rpm, and is shown on the digital display. The 0.75 kW motor, 120 mm quill stroke, cross laser and LED light fitted as standard make it suitable for precise drilling, including in series.
What are the main features of the TBM 380 - 16 V?
- Infinitely variable speed over two ranges, 190–730 and 720–2,700 rpm
- Digital spindle speed display
- Cross laser for quickly locating the drilling point
- Integrated LED light to illuminate the working area
- 120 mm quill stroke
- 290 × 290 mm table with 16 mm T-slots, tilting from -45° to +45°
- Ø 73 mm column and base with 220 × 220 mm working surface
- Keyless chuck 1–16 mm included
- Height-adjustable guard and separate emergency stop button
What applications is it suitable for?
The TBM 380 - 16 V is suitable for workshops, maintenance departments, metal fabrication shops and laboratories that drill steel, aluminium, wood and plastics up to 20 mm, on workpieces within a throat depth of 190 mm. The infinitely variable speed lets you set the exact speed for each drill bit and material without changing belts for every hole. The 230 V single-phase power supply allows connection to a standard socket.
It is not suitable for workpieces that require the drilling point to be moved beyond the 190 mm throat depth: in these cases a radial drill is required.
